TWO executive members have resigned from the Hindu Credit Union’s Depositors and Shareholders Group (HCUDSG).

President Rick Maharaj and public relations officer Deosaran Bisnath resigned from the HCUDSG.

In a statement, both men said in the past week it had become an impossible task to maintain the independence of the group. Neither gave any other reason for the decision to quit the group.

They have said they will continue to serve the members of the credit union.
