Thieves hit Sando Mortuary
Saturday, September 6 2008 FOUR stainless steel pans, used to store human body parts during and after autopsies, and an umbrella were stolen by persons unknown from the mortuary at the San Fernando General Hospital, sometime on Wednesday night. According to reports, the intruder/s broke a window and entered the mortuary and stole the items. Police sources said the pans are valuable since they are made with an expensive type of steel alloy to withstand erosion. San Fernando police are continuing investigations.
