TT women cricketers trounce Canada

THE Trinidad and Tobago Development XI completed a 151-run whipping of the Canadian Women’s cricket team on Saturday.

Batting first, the Development XI scored 203 for seven from their 40 overs. Amanda Samaroo was the top scorer with 60. She was assisted by Jerveena Pollucksingh with 49 and Whitney Cudjoe scoring 32.

Mona Patel was the pick of the bowlers taking three for 27 and Meara Crawford finished with two for 46 from seven overs. Canada in their run chase were then routed for 52 with Vadeo Sproxton top scoring with 15.
