NEWCOMERS Harlem made an inauspicious start to their campaign in the Retro Division of the Courts All Sectors Netball League when they were trounced 39-11 by TSTT.

The telecommunications women led by six goals 10-4 at the end of the first quarter, and it was all over as a contest at the half at which they held an 22-6 advantage, and allowing Harlem just three goals in the third period and only two in the final session.

Goal attack Marcia Daniel netted 26 goals from 36 attempts and Alison John 13 of 21 for the winners while Maylin Peters got 10 of 19 and Mona Thomas one of 11 for Harlem.

In another game in the same division on Monday, Police drubbed Les Enfants 23-8 ith Beverly Rodgers netting 12 goals, Beverly Hernandez seven and Lynette Duncan four. Michelle Boyce four, Jonane Payne three and Cindy Merrick one scored for the losers.

And Fire whipped Defence Force 20-14 led by Marcia Daniel with 15 goals and Olivia Le Platte five. Joanne Santana scored seven , Sharon O’Brien four and Cheryl Millington three for the Army- Coast Guard women.
