SEVERAL TSTT mobile customers experienced difficulty when attempting to use their mobile phones within Port-of-Spain and environs yesterday. Persons trying to make or receive calls may not have been able to do so while text message capabilities were severely affected.

Contacted for comment, TSTT Head of Public Relations Camille Salandy said the problem was recognised within minutes of its occurrence and service was expected to have returned to normal by yesterday evening. However she refused to say what caused the disruption.
