Street light repaired

Friday, September 5 2008

OLIVER Nash, of Angelina Terrace, in Morvant, no longer has to worry about his children’s safety as they walk along the road near to his house since a malfunctioning street light has been repaired.

In a Hotline report on August 15, Nash said there were two mini marts close to his house and his children were always at the shop. He was concerned that his children ran the risk of being knocked down by a speeding motorist, especially during the late evening.

On Wednesday, Nash said the streetlight was repaired.

“Thank you very much. They came last week and fixed it so I just had to express my thanks,” Nash said.
