MANY of the nation’s Street Children received some much needed help following the Newsday-sponsored Republic Day Cycle Classic and 5K Fun Run and Walk at King George V Park, St Clair.

The event was a means of raising funds to assist the nation’s Street Children with education and other necessities.

Hundreds of supporters, including the participants, came out and enjoyed the event with their families and friends. Following the day’s action, those who took part received prizes, courtesy Newsday.
