SEVEN people were injured in a three-vehicle accident near the El Socorro intersection on the Churchill-Roosevelt Highway, San Juan, yesterday.

The accident occurred around 4.30 pm.

Reports state that a Nissan car, driven by Elizabeth Kellar and carrying six occupants, was heading west when it struck a Suzuki Grand Vitara SUV.

The collision forced the Suzuki to crash into another vehicle.

Kellar and the six riders in her car all sustained injuries and were rushed to hospital by EMS ambulance.

PC Pooran, of Barataria Police Station, is conducting inquiries.
