Magistrate takes dim view in Saada matter

A burden is how a San Fernando magistrate has described the delay in the preliminary inquiry into the kidnapping of Saada Singh. Magistrate Rajendra Rambachan expressed his dissatisfaction yesterday over the delay in proceedings which began back in 2004. Visibly upset that Sgt Derrick Matthews Noel was the only witness who testified yesterday. Rambachan said, This case is a burden on my list. It is a burden and is inconveniencing all other cases.
