Clico San Juan Jabloteh preserved their position atop the TT Pro League table after a tough draw against W Connection FC at the Mannie Ramjohn Stadium in Marabella yesterday.

Jabloteh are the defending league champions and Connection trailed them by a single point at the beginning of the match.

The high stakes game was very competitive from the opening whistle.

Neither team gave up any ground and the match ended 2-2.

Jabloteh struck first. A header by Marvin Oliver beat  goalkeeper Murillo Da Costa in the 13th minute.

The lead was short-lived as Jonathan Frias tapped in the equalizer for W Connection in the 16th minute.

The Savonetta Boys dominated play for the remainder of the first period and were unlucky not to take lead.

Young central defender, Robert Primus, gave San Juan the lead in the 37th minute. That was the score at half time.

A late strike by substitute Ronaldo Viana earned W Connection the draw and a share of the points.
