Inflation slows down

HEADLINE inflation has slowed to 7.6 per cent in the 12 months to December 2007 from 9.1 per cent in December 2006 and a high of ten per cent in October 2006, and food price inflation has also taken a downward turn, according to the final inflation figures for 2007 released by the Central Statistical Office.
