Independence fireworks back

CLICO will once again sponsor the Independence night fireworks display at both the Queen's Park Savannah and the San Fernando Hill.

A statement from the company yesterday described the 18th annual display as Clico's gift to the nation and said through the event the company was demonstrating its commitment to the preservation of culture and heritage in Trinidad and Tobago.

While CLICO is inviting the public, the statement asked that all pets be secured before the fireworks begin as the loud sounds have been known to disorient animals and place them in peril.
