All the major world indices were in the red today while declines on the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange (TTSE) continue to depress the three indices.

On the TTSE, the Composite Index sank 1.14 points to 907,50, the All T&T Index went down 1.52 points to 1,222.02 and the Cross Listed Index was lowered 0.09 points to close at 73.17.

Trading activity closed yesterday with only eight active securities and total volume down to 187,362 shares; however market value rose to end the day at $2.99 million.

Declines monopolised the day’s trading activity with Neal & Massy Holdings Limited (NML) experiencing the biggest loss, falling 50 cents to close at $51. Prestige and Sagicor traded down 2 25 cents to $3.00 and 13 cents at $13.98 in that order. Guardian Holdings ticked down one cent to $19.99.
