TOYOTA D’ Fearless One started the 2008 Bamboo Cricket League Windball tournament with an eight-wicket victory over Gold City Players on the weekend.

Batting first Gold City Players scored a competitive total of 89 for six from their allotted 12 overs. Both Earlan Williams and Hardeo Dookram scored 16 for Gold City Players with Richard Morang and Ricky Ramlackhan picking up two wickets each.

Toyota D’ Fearless One chasing were paced by Marlon Moonsammy who scored 39 and Kerry Gonzales chipping in with 23 as they reached 92 for two in ten overs to claim an easy victory.
