Body of Lee-Ann Wilson found

KILLED: Lee-Ann Wilson

The decomposed, burnt body of a woman found near a bush fire in Chaguaramas has been identified as missing maid Lee-Ann Wilson.

Wilson, 19, who lived at Farfan Street, La Puerta, Diego Martin, had been missing for just over a week.

Her body was found by Chaguaramas Development Authority police as they investigated a bush fire off Guave Road, Chaguaramas, around 3 p.m. Sunday. Police believe Wilson was killed and left in the field.

The teenager, originally from Guyana, was working as a baby-sitter in Maraval and left her home in Diego Martin on May 4 to visit a friend in Maraval but never returned.
