Beaches gradually returning to normal
Wednesday, March 26 2008 Lifeguards at Maracas and Las Cuevas Bay reported yesterday that things are returning to normal after a deep low pressure system originally from the North Atlantic resulted in rough seas and high swells around Trinidad and Tobago over the Easter weekend. The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service(TTMET) yesterday continued a rough seas bulletin, first issued last Wednesday, warning small craft operators, sea bathers and all marine interests of the conditions, which included waves over three metres in height.
