A CLAXTON BAY man who went fishing on Easter Monday, leaving his brand new car parked near the Vessigny Beach in La Brea, returned a short while later to discover it stolen.

A police report stated that on Easter Monday, Ravindranath Samuel of Claxton Bay parked his Mazda car valued $170,000 on the roadside in Vessigny, La Brea and went fishing with friends some distance away.

A few hours later, Samuel returned to find his car missing from the spot where he earlier parked it. A report was made to officers patrolling the beach. Investigations are continuing.
